Top Local Restaurant: Moon Time
The Food – Moon Time serves consistently great food in a comfortable English pub-style atmosphere. It is a staple for Coeur d’Alene locals who love to gather, enjoy a good local draft beer, dine affordably and enjoy a great blend of live musicians. Moon Time has a very well-rounded menu and ‘ups the bar’ when it comes to pub fare. The food is unique, fresh and innovative and the portions quite generous!
What we like – Moon Time is one of those places it’s hard for me to drive by without saying, “boy Moon Time sounds good right now” and my wife echoes “Moon Time always sounds good.” We like that it’s just off the beaten path from downtown Coeur d’Alene, so it doesn’t attract the hoards of resort-goers. It’s never too busy and even when busy, it’s “chill.” Favorite menu items of ours include their incredible Taco Salad, Mediterranean Lamb Burger (a wholesome, but lean flavorful sandwich), The Swimming Angel (a unique Thai chicken dish), and their popular signature 74th street Gumbo. You will always find great service and great people here. Try their roasted corn pasta salad as your side dish! The owners of Moon Time also own the Front Porch in Hayden, Idaho among others in the Spokane area.
