Becoming self-sufficient is rewarding and can save you time and money in the long-run. Learning new skills and developing new hobbies is fun, healthy and motivating. Since the two of us spend much of our lives caring for rural properties, we have found the value of self-sufficiency.
We have also realized that nothing is really that difficult if you are willing to take the time and effort to achieve new skills. In this section, we’ll be sharing a few easy do-it-yourself projects that you may be able to incorporate on your property. It is fun enough to have your own broad skill-set, but it’s even more rewarding to pass on these skills to kids, friends and neighbors.
